Focal Point is a collaborative, inspiring, and professional work space dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes. Our vision is to build a flexible, connected culture that empowers people, business, and the community to grow and succeed. In addition to coworking space and flexible office space options, we also offer meeting room and event space rental.
WHAT IS BIZ AND BITES?
At Focal Point, we host monthly educational workshops called Biz and Bites, free to Focal Point members. The workshops cover a variety of business topics including marketing, finance, leadership, technology, human resources, and more. HOW DO I SCHEDULE A TOUR?
You are welcome to simply stop by anytime during our regular business hours and our Founder or Front Desk Associate will be happy to show you around! You can also email us at info@focalpointcowork.com if you want to schedule an appointment.
CAN CLIENTS MEET ME AT FOCAL POINT?
Your clients are welcome if they will be meeting with you.
IS COFFEE INCLUDED?
Yes! Coffee, tea and filtered water is included. Snacks are available as well.
HOW’S THE WI-FI?
All members have access to our high-speed fiber optic internet which is fast and reliable. We also have Spectrum as a backup service, so we will never be without internet service. Advanced Data is our IT provider and they are always available to address any needs.
WILL I HAVE ANY TROUBLE FINDING A HOT DESK?
Our hot desks are available on a first come, first served basis. The best way to guarantee a desk is to arrive early. However, our members have flexible schedules and, with such a large space, there is always a workspace available.
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER OF FOCAL POINT?

DO I HAVE TO SIGN A LONG-TERM CONTRACT?
No, our membership contracts are month-to-month. The virtual membership level requires a three-month commitment to start and is month-to-month thereafter.
CAN I HOST AN EVENT AT FOCAL POINT?
Yes. We are all in for classes and educational events that are open to our members. Still not sure if your event fits the space? Shoot us an email at info@focalpointcowork.com and tell us what you want to host, and we'll work alongside you.
AS A MEMBER, CAN I HAVE GUESTS STOP BY?
If your guest is a client, they are more than welcome. This is your office. However, if your guest is coming to work for the day, they should purchase a Day Pass or officially join the community with a membership – giving them all the sweet perks associated with doing so.
I WANT TO PURCHASE A MEMBERSHIP FOR MY TEAM. ARE THERE GROUP MEMBERSHIPS?
Yes! We customize plans according to the number of people in your group and if you need conference room time. Please send an email to info@focalpointcowork.com for more information.
I'M ON THE PHONE A LOT. HOW DOES THAT WORK?
We have designed the space with sound panels and insulated walls to minimize noise. However, it is a coworking space and voices will be heard. If you want more privacy, you can always pop into one of our meeting rooms for a call or step outside on the spacious outdoor deck.
WHOSE ART IS HANGING ON THE WALLS?
The art in our space is by various artists in our local community. Most pieces are for sale. If you're interested in hanging your work in the space, send us an email at info@focalpointcowork.com.
DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER LOCATIONS?
Currently, we have one location in downtown Asheville. If you need a coworking center in other cities in our area, including Greenville, SC, let us know and we will refer you to one of our partners
CAN I BRING FOOD?
Yes. We have a full kitchen with a shared refrigerator, microwave, and bottomless coffee.
ARE YOU PET FRIENDLY?
No. We love our pets but we can't allow them in the space.
IS SMOKING ALLOWED ON THE BACK PATIO?
No. Focal Point is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for its members and guests. As such, smoking and vaping are prohibited on all premises inside and out including near the front door, back patio and all common areas within Lexington Station. This policy applies to all members, non-members, day pass users, meeting room and event space users and their guests.
